Winemaking: Premium Shiraz sourced from notable old vine Barossa vineyards. Grapes were crushed and de-stemmed then transferred to tank. Fermented over a ten day period with regular pumpovers to aid colour and tannin extraction from the skins. After being pressed the wine was transferred to oak for a minimum of 12 months.

Vintage 2021: One of the best vintages in the last decade for the Barossa in 2021 with vignerons ecstatic with the quality of the fruit. Good rainfall over winter ensured the soil retained moisture over the early part of the growing season. A warm - but not ridiculously hot - Summer followed with dry conditions ensuring an even ripening all the way up to harvest. A vintage that will be celebrated in the region

Tasting Note: Vibrant aromas of Black berry, black currant, with toasted notes of vanilla bean and spice. Palate is rich with black forest fruits, dark chocolate, tannins support the fruit and provide structure. Not what you would expect from a cleanskin, complex and high quality fruit! best paired with dry aged T-Bone cooked over charcoal with roasted vegetables.
