Summary: Tread Softly is a contemporary range of wines seeking to deliver delicious, intensely flavoured wines that are naturally medium weighted and moderate in alcohol. By using more sustainable vineyard management and wine-making techniques to ensure their production has had a minimal impact to the environment. Vineyards: Fruit for the Tread Softly premium range was Sourced from established vineyards of the Coldstream sub region of the Yarra Valley.

Winemaking: Single Vineyard Pinot noir that was hand picked then cold soaked for three days prior to a cool ferment and pressed at dryness. It was then left on its lees for five months before bottling without any sulphur.

2022 Vintage: A La Nina season brought much welcomed rain over the winter months and continued in providing a mild spring and summer. The cooler than average weather during harvest resulted in a longer ripening period and facilitated an outstanding flavour and tannin balance and wines with balanced natural acidity.

Tasting Note: A lighter rendition of Yarra Valley Pinot Noir with a light colour in the glass but a pretty nose that display all the hallmarks of the variety. The palate is light with crunchy red fruits and a cleansing burst of acidity on the finish. Pair with duck pancakes.
